Ralph Quimbo, MA

Ralph Quimbo is Staff Vice President of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Carelon Research. In this role, he provides organizational leadership of the HEOR unit’s scientific and business operations. Mr. Quimbo has more than 14 years of experience in the development, conduct, and oversight of research studies utilizing a broad spectrum of study designs, research methods, and integrated data sources covering numerous therapeutic areas and disease states. He has provided research consultancy in various capacities — lead researcher, project manager, principal investigator — and has led efforts in Research Innovation within strategic research collaborations between industry and payers.

Mr. Quimbo has published numerous original research manuscripts and has been recognized for the presentations of his research studies, both in poster and podium presentation formats, on several occasions by the American Heart Association and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research. He has published and presented on a variety of topics, including diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, respiratory disease, autoimmune disease, diseases of the central nervous system, and oncology.
