Carelon Research’s Dr. Stephan Lanes named 2021 ISPE fellow
Wilmington, DE – August 19, 2021 – Dr. Stephan Lanes, a principal scientist at Carelon Research, has been named a 2021 Fellow of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology.
ISPE Fellowship is awarded to members who demonstrate seniority, scholarship through quality and impact of publications, service to ISPE, and leadership in pharmacoepidemiology.
Dr. Lanes is one of ten individuals to receive this honor in 2021.
At Carelon Research, Dr. Lanes provides scientific guidance for a variety of research projects and serves as principal investigator for industry-sponsored and government-sponsored research projects. He served on the board of directors of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology and chaired the committee to update the Guidelines for Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practices (GPP). Dr. Lanes has published more than 100 papers on the design, conduct, and interpretation of epidemiologic studies in the peer-reviewed medical literature and has presented his work at scientific meetings and to regulatory authorities worldwide. He has been with Carelon Research for eight years.
As a new Fellow, Dr. Lanes and others will be officially inducted at the Annual Members’ Meeting and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, August 25th.
